Job Description
As an Operations Operator, you will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of municipal water and wastewater systems. This includes ensuring optimal functionality of the facilities, as well as carrying out necessary repairs and upgrades. You will also have the opportunity to take on other tasks within the municipality's technical operations, providing room for personal and professional growth. Grong Municipality will support you if you wish to pursue further education or professional certification within the field.
Participation in the technical on-call duty rotation is included in the position. This involves responsibility for emergency situations and downtime outside of ordinary working hours, requiring the ability to handle high-pressure situations with calmness and efficiency. The technical on-call duty consists of a team of 5 people who rotate the weekly shifts among themselves.
Qualifications
To be considered for the position, you must have:
Relevant education, a trade certificate (fagbrev), or demonstrated competence in water and wastewater technology, plumbing (construction), process operation, or equivalent fields.
Practical experience from similar positions is a major advantage.
Basic digital competence.
