We are seeking an enthusiastic General Practitioner for our new inter-municipal task force, covering the municipalities of Grong, Lierne, Namsskogan, and Røyrvik.
About Us
Indre Namdal Medical Service is an innovative collaboration between four municipalities, aimed at ensuring stable, safe, and attractive medical services for our residents, as well as excellent working conditions for our doctors. We offer a strong professional community with seven GP positions and two LIS1 positions, operating out of modern and well-equipped facilities. We utilize digital dialogue and innovative solutions. Job Responsibilities
The position is up to 100% and involves the following tasks:
GP responsibility for your own patient list (cap of 750 patients).
Participation in the inter-municipal emergency medical service (Legevakt) for approximately 4,800 residents.
Other municipal medical duties as required.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess:
Norwegian authorization as a medical doctor and completed internship/foundation year (turnustjeneste).
Preferably a specialist in general medicine, or currently specializing (ALIS agreement is possible).
Emergency medical competence for duty shifts (courses in emergency medicine, and management of violence and abuse).
Proficiency in the Norwegian language, both oral and written.
A valid Class B driver’s license.
Experience from primary healthcare is desirable.
Personal suitability will be emphasized: structured, independent, excellent collaboration skills, and a strong relationship builder.
